Internet & WiFi

You handle the internet bill. We handle everything between your router and your devices.

What we do (and what we don't)

We are not an ISP. We don't sell you an internet connection. What we do is everything that happens after the connection arrives at your building — the network design, the WiFi deployment, the security configuration, and the ongoing monitoring that keeps it all working reliably.

Most business WiFi problems aren't caused by a slow internet connection. They're caused by a cheap consumer router that can't handle multiple users, access points placed without a site survey, interference from neighbouring networks, or no Quality of Service configuration for business-critical applications. We fix the network — not the internet plan.

WiFi design and deployment

A proper business WiFi deployment starts with understanding the space — room layout, building materials (concrete and glass attenuate differently), the number of concurrent users, and what those users are doing. A café with 40 customers all streaming or video-calling needs a different setup than a retail shop with two staff and a point-of-sale terminal.

We work with enterprise-grade access points from Ubiquiti, Cisco Meraki, and Ruckus — brands designed for business environments, with centralised management and the ability to scale as you grow. We configure VLANs to separate guest traffic from staff traffic from IoT devices, so a guest on your customer WiFi can't see your point-of-sale system or your shared drives. This isn't paranoia — it's basic network hygiene.

Guest WiFi for hospitality and retail

If you're in hospitality or retail, guest WiFi is a customer expectation. Done well, it's also a tool — captive portals can capture emails for marketing (with proper consent), display a welcome message, and limit bandwidth so one heavy user doesn't ruin the experience for everyone else. We set these up properly, with appropriate terms of service and Privacy Act compliance baked in.

Extending coverage and fixing dead spots

Range extenders are generally not the answer for business environments — they halve your bandwidth and create roaming issues when devices hand off poorly. Mesh networking or a wired access point deployment gives you seamless coverage across larger properties without the trade-offs. We assess what you have and recommend the right approach for your specific building and budget.

Network monitoring and ISP liaison

We monitor business networks proactively — detecting outages, performance degradation, and unusual traffic patterns. If your ISP is genuinely the problem, we help you make the case with them: we can produce logs and diagnostics that turn a support call from "it seems slow" into "here's a graph of your latency spikes over the past 72 hours." That tends to get results faster.
