Web & mobile applications for NZ businesses

Beyond the brochure — software that does something

Not every business problem is solved by a website. Sometimes you need software: a customer portal where clients can log in and check their job status. A booking system that syncs with your calendar and sends automated reminders. An internal dashboard your team uses daily. An app your field staff can open on their phone to log work orders.

We build these kinds of tools for NZ businesses — from tourism operators needing custom booking flows, to trade businesses wanting to digitise their job management, to professional services firms that have outgrown spreadsheets.

What we build

Our focus is on web applications — software that runs in a browser and works on any device. This covers the majority of business use cases and avoids the complexity and cost of native iOS/Android development. Progressive web apps (PWAs) can be added to a phone's home screen and work offline, getting you most of the native app experience without the App Store overhead.

Typical projects include: booking and scheduling systems with calendar integration, payment processing, and automated customer comms; customer portals with login, document storage, and status tracking; internal dashboards for reporting, job management, or staff coordination; e-commerce with inventory, fulfilment, and local shipping rules built in; and integrations that connect your existing tools — Xero, Shopify, Simprosoft, or whatever you're running.

Our build approach

We work iteratively. You'll see something working early — not a six-month black-box development cycle that ends with a surprise. We use modern frameworks that are well-supported and easy to maintain long-term. We write documentation. We don't build in ways that create a single-developer dependency.

Security is built in from the start. Authentication, access control, input validation, encrypted data at rest and in transit — these aren't add-ons. They're part of how we build. NZ's Privacy Act 2020 requirements are accounted for from day one.

Ownership and handover

You own your code. When a project is complete, we hand over the source code, credentials, and documentation. We're happy to continue maintaining and evolving the app — most clients do — but you're never locked in. We can also take over maintenance of applications built by others if you've been left stranded.
